Uganda
Our first school trip destination was Kigumba, Uganda in 2009. Since then our groups have been welcomed into the local community each year. Working together with our local parish hosts and building partners we have forged long standing friendships and have contributed to the construction of classrooms for primary and secondary children, dormitories and recreational facilites.
Ghana
From 2011 we began to explore our links in Kaleo, in the Upper West region of Ghana. Project groups have enjoyed the hospitality of our partners in the area and have worked together to build classrooms and a library.
About Us
Set up by Rachel and Francesca in 2019, Connected was the product of running successful independent school trips. Combining community fundraising and whole school activities our young people are encouraged to undertake school, community and parish activities in order to raise funds to travel to a Project location.
